I picked up a few games that were on sale on the Switch this past week. The first game is Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered. I'm enjoying this game quite a bit, I prefer to play the police missions, but the racing ones are fun as well. The other game that I picked up is Splatoon 2. Yes, I did own this game and sold the physical copy a year or so back. And ever since I kind of regretted that decision. So when I saw it was on sale, well, I figured that the universe is trying to tell me something. Who am I to go against fate, right?

This weekend, I'll be continuing my quest through Immortals Fenyx Rising. Still has me laughing every cutscene. There will be a smattering of the usual games, plus I've recently gotten back in to PGA2K21.

Interestingly enough, I am also venturing into the world of the Stealth Assassin. I'll be playing some of the first Hitman game on the Series X, as well as jumping into Mortal Kombat 11 (Baraka fans unite!) And earning my Predator skin in Fortnite.

After successfully snagging the platinum trophy for Fenyx Rising last weekend, I've shifted my focus to spending some long overdue time with the Hitman franchise. I took my first step on that journey by finishing Hitman: Codename 47 earlier in the week, so that means my weekend will be spent solely on the next entry – Hitman 2: Silent Assassin.
