Welcome back, warriors! It's that time of the week where we take a sneak peek into the gaming lineup of the Gamerheads Crew! They're diving into some long awaited remasters, MMOs, and action RPGs. Let's take a look!
Jake - Reviewer: This weekend is all about the Oblivion Remastered. I am having such a fun time in this game I haven’t played since I was probably 14. The updated graphics and tweaks to old outdated systems are so well done but I am happy they kept in the jankyness of the original.
Roger Reichardt - Co-Host/Reviewer: There's something about warm weather that gets me into playing open world games. And I really want to play Tears of the Kingdom. But I also have a Switch 2 preordered (I got lucky) and I want to wait until I get it to jump back into Hyrule.
I also plan on playing more Mario (Odyssey and 3d World) and Metroid Prime Remastered. My wife and I also continue our Overcooked 2 quest. We're working on getting Kevin levels; getting some of the later ones is proving to be quite difficult!
Stephanie - Reviewer: You'll find me on Final Fantasy XIV this weekend! Primarily on the moon crafting and gathering my gamer heart out. The new zone was released that is a server wide progression that we all work towards over time! I loved the last one and I have been so excited for this release.
Trina - News Coordinator/Reviewer: This weekend I am fortunate enough to be able to play Marathon! Zeb and I have been polishing up our extraction skills and I'm really enjoying the story behind some of the contracts so far. Looking forward to the full game coming out in September.
Zeb - Reviewer: I've only played through the prologue so far but Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has it's claws in me. The turn-based combat mixed with parrying and blocking makes the game fun to play, plus the writing has me invested already. Besides that I was lucky enough to get access to the closed alpha of Marathon and am slowly learning Bungie's new extraction shooter.
Thanks for joining us again this week! Are you diving into any of the same games the Crew is? Let us know what's in your queue for this weekend! From all of us in the Gamerheads Crew, have a safe and wonderful weekend, and game one! Thank you for being here!
