The Weekend Video Game Warrior #121

Welcome back, weekend warriors! It is time to shake off the stresses of this past week, sit back, relax, and launch up your favorite games. Each week, the Gamerheads Crew provides a sneak peak into their video game line-up for the weekend. And this time we've got genres ranging from open-world builders, to puzzles, and RPGs! Let's party up and look into what the Crew has in their gaming queue for this weekend!

Jake - Reviewer: Happy to be diving back into Dragon Age again when I have some down time. Also been playing Planet Crafter and really enjoying that as well it’s a mix of Satisfactory and Subnautica but without the scary monsters.

Mike Ryan - Podcast Host/Review Coordinator/Reviewer: I just purchased Peglin, a combination of RPG and Peggle, so I'm really looking forward to playing that one. Other than that, I'll be continuing my murder spree in Haddonfield while playing Retro Realms Halloween, and probably top it off work a little Broforce!

Roger Reichardt - Co-Host/Reviewer: I can't abandon Rook this weekend, not after all we've been through together. So obviously, I'll be playing more Dragon Age: The Veilguard - I absolutely love the story and the combat in this game. I'm also diving more into Mirthwood, a Stardew Valley meets Skyrim type game. Such an interesting game and plenty of epic adventures await!

Stephanie - Reviewer: It's been a busy week with IRL taking the front of my time, but now it's the weekend! And we all know what that means: Its game time! I will say, throughout the week, I've peppered my time with some Destiny 2 and Stardew Valley's newest 1.6x update that released on the Switch and mobile devices! (Thank you, ConcernedApe!) I already have 200+ hours plugged into my PC copy, but starting up a new farm layout is always fun! This weekend however, I plan to dive into Europa (review will be incoming!) and possibly some Gunfire Reborn; cause who wouldn't want to run around as a cute animal and destroy enemies in a Roguelite RPG?

Trina - News Coordinator/Reviewer: Jake has pulled me into Planet Crafter this week! It's been amazing to see our barren planet slowly turn into one with lakes, rivers, moss, and flowers. This weekend we most likely will continue to work on our planet together.

Zeb - Reviewer: I’ve just started Red Dead Redemption 2 and from my friends response I have a long emotional journey to travel down. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the story as well as exploring the large expansive map. Besides that I’ve dived deeper into the Zombies horde mode in Call of Duty discovering the fun in unlocking new skins from completing challenges, creating a easy gameplay loop making me want to play more, especially when playing with friends. Hoping to fill this weekend with co-op games with friends, from Planet Crafter to Lethal Company it’s always fun to hang out with a good uplifting group.

So, that's a wrap, warriors! What do you have in your queue this weekend? Share with us your favorite picks! Stay safe, game on, and enjoy the weekend from everyone here in the Gamerheads Crew!
