Lonely Mountains: Downhill launches October 23rd

If there's one thing I always loved in video games, it's ragdoll physics. That silly form of animation always gave some of the more visceral violent scenes a hilarious coat of paint. And this new trailer from Thunderful Publishing and Megagon Industries' new game Lonely Mountains: Downhill looks to have plenty of that.

The title comes out on Xbox One, Steam, and PS4 on October 23rd, for the price of $19.99.

Check out the trailer and press release below, and get ready to fight gravity in just a few weeks!

Gothenburg, Sweden - October 3rd, 2019 - Thunderful Publishing and Megagon Industries are thrilled to announce the official release date* for the exciting mountain biking game, Lonely Mountains: Downhill, set to launch on October 23rd, 2019 on Xbox One, Steam, and PlayStation 4 at a price of €19.99 / $19.99 / £17.99**. Xbox One owners will also have the ability to play the game on day one through Xbox Game Pass.

We’re super excited to finally have the finish line in sight. Thanks to all our Kickstarter backers for their patience and for staying with us on the ride. We’re really looking forward to see if our leaderboard times can last longer than a day.” says Daniel Helbig, co-founder and one of the three devs from Megagon Industries.

In Lonely Mountains: Downhill it’s just you and the mountains. Start from the top of a trail and explore your way to the finish line. Once you’ve grown comfortable with that, will you brave all the rocks, trees, and narrow corridors to speed through as fast as possible to set a new record time on the leaderboards? Or, perhaps you will be all about perfection and exploration, seeing what all the mountain has to offer while trying to perfectly reach the bottom with zero crashes on record. No matter how you play it, it’s always a joyful time!
